As of November 1st, 2023, all VISSER reels will come with a full 3-year warranty. Included in the warranty is one free full service in the first year. Valued at $80.00 Pliers have a lifetime warranty except for the replaceable cutters, tactical sheath and lanyard have a 1-year warranty.
We are so confident in our reels and pliers; in that we can offer this unprecedented warranty to our customers. Warrantees still in effect are transferable to new ownership with the proper registration and a valid sales receipt from the original purchase.

Shown are the two different rotors. It takes just 3 Torx screws to swap them out. The rotors can be purchased separately from our new VISSER store that will be one line this January.
The VISSER REELS PIER MASTER
Visser Reels introduces our new Pier Master model, due to be released early next year. The Pier Master model is designed for the Surf, Pier and Jetty fisherman. The Pier Master series rotor and spool are all fully interchangeable with the current Visser reels.
How the pier Master came about
Why this new Pier Master model? Well, 30 years go Van Staal (RK) came out with the VS300, and my early Van Staal reels were all bail-less reels. Bail-less reels were not new, but we made them very popular again then. With VISSER Reels now, we are introducing the new Pier Master reel that references back for me 30 years ago when I introduced Van Staal to the world. So, with that history, we will manufacture a 30-year anniversary model only in gold anodize. It will be hand engraved with more details to follow soon.

Introducing: American made Titanium VISSER pliers from the original creator of the VS pliers. Robert Koelewyn introduces totally new designed Titanium pliers that are a major step forward over his original VS designs. The new pliers are 30% lighter with no loss of strength, better and more comfortable grip with narrower nose tips The USA made cutters are produced from the most durable and toughest tool material, precision ground to slice though the strongest braid and easily cut softer wire as well. The hinge design is rock solid, giving the jaws a vise like grip with zero jaw twist, taking out big hooks while keeping salt and sand away from the hinge area. Our patent pending split ring feature is very unique. this split ring feature is independent from the jaw. All split ring pliers today have that feature on the nose of the pliers, and it gets in the way! Our pliers have the split ring feature separate from the jaw. The pliers can be ordered with or without the split ring feature. The pliers come with a tactical patent pending Kydex holster. When inserted into the holster, they snap into place to secure. A high-quality lanyard is included for extra security to prevent loss. Two sizes are available a 6.5 inch and the larger 7.5-inch model. Manufacturing and assembly are done at our facility in Seymour Connecticut. Pricing will be available February 1, 2022. Lifetime warranty on the pliers, one year on the cutters, holster, and lanyard. The first 50 pliers of each size will be sold as introduction signature series. Each plier will be personally signed by the creator Robert Koelewyn with a personal thank you card. VISSER REELS officially now an member of the ASA
Visser Reels is now an official member of the ASA American Sport Fishing Association. We are extremely happy to join the ASA, an organization that represents our industries interest and the interest of many of our customers. Joining them will give VISSER Reels much data and information in helping us grow our brand into a formidable player with products like our new VISSER reels and associated accessories. We are currently evaluating booth space for the up coming 2021 ICAST show in Orlando Florida this July 20 - 23

Latest news about field testing
To the right are four reels that were to be shipped out for testing in South Florida. Due to the virus situation causing travel restriction we will be testing them at a future date. We are fully committed to bring you one of the most exciting new reels since I launched the Van Staal reels more than 25 years ago. As of February 5th 2020 our first deliveries of the exciting new VISSER Reels is set for the beginning of June. We will have limited reels available possibly before that date. Our new facility in Seymour Connecticut is currently under construction. There we perform high level quality checks prior to shipping to our customers. This takes time during the initial start of deliveries. it is one of our highest priority that reels are certified before shipment to insure their quality.

Visser Reels LLC will have its sales and service location at this newly build facility. Our product development center and testing lab will be located there. All of our new development for new products will happen there as well. We are on the same premises as Forster Precision. Ed Forster our partner is the owner of Forster Precision. Having access to high tech CNC machines will give VISSER Reels the ability for new product development to help grow the company for the future with more great products.
